Alvin Draft-Tec Retrac 0.3 mm
Starting off here, the Draft-Tec Retrac appears to have a metal clutch with a decent 10-click test. The click is solid, but with the click, there is a bit of friction that is noticeable with the knock mechanism before and after the click. Nothing against it except it may affect the pencil in time. As for the features, there are three features: a double knock retractable mechanism, a rubber grip, and a metal clip. The double knock mechanism is fine, despite that friction. The rubber grip is fine, except the ribbing is actually misaligned a little, subtracting from the construction a little bit. As for the metal clip, it's fine on its own. However, unlike most drafting pencils, this pencil has a clip that does not have metal wrap around the barrel, increasing the risk of the clip detaching from the pencil as a whole without breaking. As for the construction, it has a good quality plastic upper barrel with a metal clutch. Let's see the grade based on the scale.
Overall Thoughts: This is a good drafting pencil for one who is looking for a cheaper retractable pencil to utilize. Keep in mind that with this mechanism, you may have to push lead back into the lead sleeve because the double knock is also connected the clutch.
