Pilot Airblanc 0.3 mm

Now, I normally would go for pencil that is appears more durable than this (and most likely more expensive), but this still has a few things that I would aim for with a economy type pencil.

Now, oh boy. The clutch is plastic with a brass ring. It's a cheaper pencil, so I understand why Pilot did this, it won't get too much redemption. Your 10 click test reveals that about 6 mm of lead is advanced. The irony of this is that the mechanism sounds solid. Not solid as a metal clutch, but more solid than most pencils of this price. As for features, there are three features: a grip that keeps your hand cool, a plastic cap, and a plastic clip. The plastic clip, despite being plastic, is decently effective due to the design of the clip being wrapped around the pencil along with the thickness. The plastic cap, despite being plastic, does keep your eraser from turning black from graphite markings. As for the grip that keeps your hand cool, it's great, meaning that I do not feel a sudden change in temperature when writing (unlike metal grips and some plastic grips), staying consistently cool. How does this go with point values?

Conclusion: Despite being an economy pencil, this is still a decent package, especially at the price.

Does this make my personal list? No. Enough said.
