Promarx Graff 07 0.7 mm
Disclaimer: This was a gift given to me through my AP Literature Secret Santa activity. With that being said, I have to take this review as well.
To start off, this has to be the WORST CLUTCH I'VE EVER USED!!!!!!!!!!!!! You can easily tell from that the material is a really bad plastic, despite the ten-click test being only 8 mm. Seems pretty good, right? However, why is this a bad plastic? The clutch does not reset to its original position each time one pushes. Looking at the mechanical pencil parts, the spring is meant to reset the position of the button to its original position. This pencil fails at that of all things. Heh. This pencil has a decent amount of features though. It has a triangular barrel, comfort grip, a true automatic mechanism, and a metal clip. The barrel, while aiming for ergonomics, helps with pencil rotation (pencil does not rotate randomly across the table). The comfort grip is not really suited for my hand position, but it gets the job done. The automatic mechanism acts more like a constant sliding sleeve, which is already hard to find. It does not stand out though since I have had SEVERAL sliding sleeve pencils that are more solid. The metal clip is, sadly, the best part of this pencil. Though hard to flex, it will make sure your papers are secure. As for the construction, this is the levels of the Paper Mate Sharpwriter. And this is about 20 times the price of that on Amazon. Do I really have to do this?
Would I recommend this? I'm sorry. But I would not recommend this.
